The New & Improved V-Groover is a unique tool that holds two of the #30 blades in place at a perfect 45 degree V-shaped angle. The V-Groover is used for decoration on your mats. It does not cut all the way through the mat board, instead, it cuts a V-shaped line away. The V-Groover comes with five pairs of shims in different thicknesses so you can control how deep the V-Groover cuts (which in turn, controls how wide the "V" is). The V-groover can be used for freehand work, or you can follow a pen or pencil line (since the V-groover will remove the pencil/pen line, there is no need to erase it), or you can use a straight edge as a guide. Although we are promoting the new & improved V-Groover with shims, we do have a limited supply of the older baseplate style V-Groover for those who would prefer it (only available while supplies last).
